What We Offer
Salary:
Unqualified Lecturer: 29294 per year pro rata
Qualified Lecturer:per year pro rata
(Depending on Skills Qualifications & Experience)
Contract Type: Permanent Part Time 22.5 hours per week 52 weeks per year

What Youll Do
- Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes including GCSE and Functional Skills
- Deliver engaging accessible lessons that develop learners reading writing speaking and listening skills
- Support learners with varying abilities including those who may lack confidence in English
- Use creative inclusive and practical approaches to make English relevant to everyday life employment and further study
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding professionalism and learner wellbeing
- Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
What Youll Bring
- A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
- A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
- A Level 4 teaching qualification or above is welcomed but if you dont have one yet well support you to achieve it while you work

Wiltshire College & University Centre stands as the largest provider of further and higher education in Wiltshire significantly contributing to the local economy by equipping individuals with essential skills for success. Our diverse curriculum spans from Level 1 to Level 6 and we operate across four main campuses located in Trowbridge Chippenham Salisbury and Lackham which specialises in land-based education.
We offer a wide array of apprenticeships along with full-time part-time and university-level courses. Notably our Castle Combe circuit facility is the UKs first trackside motorsport engineering training centre dedicated to our Motorsport Engineering programs.
