What We Offer

Salary:
Unqualified Lecturer: 29294 per year pro rata
Qualified Lecturer:per year pro rata
(Depending on Skills Qualifications & Experience)

Contract Type: Permanent Part Time 22.5 hours per week 52 weeks per year

What Youll Do

• Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes including GCSE and Functional Skills
• Deliver engaging accessible lessons that develop learners reading writing speaking and listening skills
• Support learners with varying abilities including those who may lack confidence in English
• Use creative inclusive and practical approaches to make English relevant to everyday life employment and further study
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding professionalism and learner wellbeing
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

What Youll Bring

• A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
• Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
• A Level 4 teaching qualification or above is welcomed but if you dont have one yet well support you to achieve it while you work
