Job Summary

About the role

As a Leasehold Officer you will be responsible for providing Fairhives leasehold management service ensuring that all legal and regulatory obligations are met while delivering a positive experience for leaseholders and shared ownership customers. You will act as the first point of contact for a wide range of leasehold matters including assignments communal repairs permissions lease extensions and shared ownership enquiries.

The role offers excellent variety and will see you managing statutory sales processes under Right to Buy and Right to Acquire legislation supporting the management of Fairhives commercial portfolio overseeing the recovery of service charges and other associated costs and helping to resolve breaches of lease agreements. You will also work closely with colleagues across the business contractors and customers to ensure effective service delivery while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a blended role combining remote working with regular office site and community-based activity.

About you...

We are looking for a confident and organised individual who enjoys problem solving and building strong relationships with customers and colleagues. You will have experience within leasehold management home ownership housing management or a similar customer-focused property environment and be comfortable handling complex enquiries with professionalism and empathy.

You will possess strong written and verbal communication skills good administrative and organisational abilities and the confidence to prioritise a varied workload. A sound understanding of leasehold processes service charges or related housing legislation would be highly advantageous. Youll also have good intermediate IT skills and be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. Most importantly youll share our commitment to delivering excellent customer service and embracing equality diversity and inclusion in everything you do.
