We are an established provider of good quality College and School Links courses for young people and adults with learning difficulties and emotional/behavioural difficulties. Brooklands College is committed to supporting learners with a wide range of needs including dyslexia autism and physical and sensory needs. We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to provide support to learner/s for the duration of their course.

About the role:

As Learning Support Assistant you will work as part of a team of LSAs. Your role will include:

• Support learners in class 1:1 or in small groups working at a range of levels from entry level to L3 across all curriculum areas
• Use strategies to help students with reading writing and maths skills
• Support students during their exams
• Keep careful records of all LSA support provided

To fulfil the role of Learning Support Assistant you will have:

• English & Maths level 2
• A relevant LSA qualification or willingness to take one a distinct advantage
• Good IT numeracy oral and written communication skills
• A sound understanding of the purpose of the Additional Learning Support function
