This is an exciting opportunity to join our exceptional Bright Futures Team at our brand-new specialist school in Salford.

Building on the success of our twohighly regarded specialist schools in St Helens and Lymm we are expanding our high-quality educationaloffer across theNorth West.

Our mission is to provide a pupil-centred personalised education for pupils aged 5-19 with Autism learning disabilities and other complex needs. We providea calm nurturing and safe environment whereevery child feels valued supported and a true sense of belonging.

The Role

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a meaningful difference and improving outcomes for all pupils.

As aLearning Mentor you will:

• Play a key role in creating a positive and supportive learning environment
• Provide tailored individualisedsupport to pupils
• Encouragethe development of essential life and learning skills
• Support pupils to reach their full potential.

Working under the direction of the Class Teacher you will undertake all general day-to-day activities with pupils in the classroom ensuring every pupils individual needs are met.

About You

We are looking for people who:

• Can buildeffectiveand enduring relationships with pupils colleagues and families
• Thrive in environments that can be challenging yet highly rewarding
• Are ableto work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Show initiative and a genuine desire to support specialist educational provision

You will play an integral role in supporting both pupils and the wider school community undertaking a range of learning support and general duties.

Acomprehensive induction and training programme will be provided to support your success in the role.

You must demonstrate that you meet all of the essential experience knowledge and personal qualities criteria on the person specification using practical examples.

Please note: this role is term-time only and the salary is as stated (i.e. not pro rata). Annual leave must be taken during school closure periods.
