3-month contract role with a local authority
Summary
  • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Learning & Organisational Development Practitioner to join our Talent and Development team on a full-time interim basis. This 3-month contract role with a local authority is crucial for designing and implementing development programs that align with organizational priorities. The successful candidate will play a key role in facilitating management development supporting corporate induction and contributing to organizational transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Design develop and deliver leadership and management development programs aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Facilitate core management development interventions including priority training programs.
  • Support the delivery of corporate induction and broader employee development activities.
  • Contribute to organizational development initiatives that support culture values and transformation.
  • Conduct learning needs analysis and design or commission solutions to meet service requirements.
  • Deliver and support coaching activities as part of the organizations internal coaching offer.
  • Collaborate across services to support workforce development and engagement initiatives.
  • Evaluate impact and continuously improve learning and organizational development provision.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership management and organizational development interventions.
  • Qualifications: A qualified coach or working towards a coaching qualification is desirable.
  • Additional Information:
    • Location: St Jamess House Dudley / Hybrid (including delivery across the borough).
    • Employment is subject to satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and suitable references.
    • We operate on a bi-weekly schedule.
