Are you organised detail focused and enjoy helping others find the right information If so this could be the role for you!

As a Learning and Development Assistant you will be part of a small team who play a central role in keeping training across the council running smoothly and effectively.

You will coordinate courses manage bookings and data through the Learning Portal and support staff and trainers to deliver high quality learning experiences. From setting up sessions to resolving queries your work will help ensure training is accessible organised and makes a real difference to how people work.

This role is office-based with working hours of 8:30am5:00pm on Monday and Tuesday and 8:30am-12:00 noon on Wednesday. Please note that this position does not offer hybrid or remote working.

We are looking for candidates who can:

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with a range of audiences
  • Provide responsive helpful customer service
  • Use Microsoft Office and digital systems confidently
  • Plan and organise a varied workload sometimes to short deadlines
  • Work accurately with strong attention to detail
