- Establish and maintain a safe healthy and nurturing environment for children.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum using The Goddard Schools Wonder of Learning framework.
- Support childrens physical cognitive language and social-emotional development.
- Provide positive guidance while fostering each childs confidence independence and self-esteem.
- Build strong respectful relationships with families through regular communication and collaboration.
- Lead an engaging responsive classroom that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to maintain a positive professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and school policies.
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting is preferred.
- A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education with a plan of study leading toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Strong communication organizational multitasking and collaboration skills.
- A positive attitude reliability and a genuine passion for working with young children.
