  Where will you be working

  We help our clients safeguard the water supply improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. Were problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

  This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

  What will you be doing

  Youll lead electrical design delivery for innovative water and wastewater projects across Yorkshire Waters asset base. Youll manage discipline workload mentor engineers and coordinate both internal and external designers. Youll oversee calculations power distribution MCC specifications cable design earthing and ICA interfaces checking outputs for safety quality and compliance. Youll coordinate mechanical civil and process interfaces resolve technical queries and support procurement construction and commissioning. Youll proactively manage design risks and changes deliver complete design packages to programme and support technical reviews throughout the projects delivery lifecycle.

  What youll bring

  • Do you hold a degree HNC/HND or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering This is essential
  • Have you delivered substantial electrical design projects within the water or wastewater sector Desirable
  • Proven experience managing design deliverables.
  • Strong knowledge of LV systems electrical calculations MCCs and ICA interfaces.
  • Are you progressing towards Chartered status or already accredited
