Join us as a Lead DevOps Engineer supporting low-latency trading infrastructure and business-critical financial systems across cloud and on-prem environments.

This hands-on technical lead role focuses on designing automating and supporting highly available platforms in partnership with engineering infrastructure security and operations teams.

It is an opportunity to improve reliability scalability security and delivery while advancing DevOps platform engineering observability and AI-enabled infrastructure tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of scalable secure and highly available trading infrastructure.

• Provide technical direction mentorship and guidance to engineers while remaining an active hands-on contributor across DevOps automation infrastructure and platform engineering initiatives.

• Build and improve automated CI/CD pipelines for Java and Python applications across multiple environments.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning deployment configuration database schema creation and operational workflows across cloud and on-prem platforms.

• Support production systems with a focus on high availability disaster recovery incident response vulnerability management patching and change management.

• Containerize applications and support deployments using container orchestration platforms.

• Partner with development teams to understand application codebases and architecture improving deployment monitoring and operational readiness.

• Use infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform Chef or Ansible to drive consistency and repeatability.

• Troubleshoot complex deployment performance networking and infrastructure issues with an emphasis on preventing recurring manual fixes through automation.

• Use AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development automation troubleshooting documentation and operational workflows.

• Identify design and help implement AI-enabled operational capabilities for infrastructure automation observability incident response and platform engineering.

• Contribute to the strategy for safe practical and secure adoption of AI across infrastructure and DevOps practices.

• Lead and participate in Agile delivery practices using Jira to manage priorities plan work track delivery communicate dependencies and provide clear status across infrastructure and application initiatives.

• Collaborate with global teams vendors and stakeholders on support issues release schedules system administration needs and platform improvements.

• Establish and promote best practices for CI/CD observability reliability cloud operations and infrastructure automation.

• Cloud and Infrastructure: AWS Azure EKS EC2 ALB S3 RDS/Aurora EFS hybrid hosting
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Chef Ansible Bash Python
• Containers and Orchestration: Docker and other container platforms; Kubernetes and EKS exposure preferred
• CI/CD and Source Control: Jenkins GitLab Git
• Monitoring and Operations: Splunk or equivalent observability tools
• AI-Enabled Engineering: AI-assisted development tools AI-enabled operational workflows and AI infrastructure strategy
• Operating Systems: Linux/Unix
