General Labourer

Location: Across London and surrounding areas

Salary: Competitive / Negotiable (depending on experience)

Role:

We are hiring on behalf of our clients who include leading main contractors residential builders and specialist subcontractors working on various construction sites. Because daily requirements can change depending on the project phase we are looking for reliable hard-working General Labourers who can support the site team and help keep projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Assist skilled tradespeople (such as carpenters groundworkers and bricklayers) by moving materials preparing tools and setting up work areas.

Load unload and distribute building materials fixtures and deliveries safely across the site.

Maintain a clean tidy and safe site by clearing away debris sweeping work areas and managing waste disposal bins.

Perform basic physical tasks including digging lifting moving barriers and setting up site fencing.

Maintain a high awareness of site hazards help keep fire exits and walkways clear and strictly adhere to all site health and safety guidelines RAMS and protective equipment regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Labourer on construction demolition or refurbishment sites is preferred.

CSCS Card

Health & Safety: A full and thorough understanding of on-site health and safety regulations including safe manual handling practices hazard awareness and the proper consistent use of PPE.

Punctual reliable physically fit for demanding manual labor and able to follow clear verbal instructions from site management.

Possession of your own standard site PPE (Safety boots hi-vis vest and hard hat).
