Labcorp is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team at Alconbury near Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 37.5hrs

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparation and storage of test articlein liquid diet blends and capsule formulations if required in accordance with study paperwork and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

• Weighing / measuring of test articlewithin a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment

• Collect and record applicable online and hand generated data

• Adhering to work schedules as appropriate

• Performing quality control reviews of study raw data prior to issue from Dose Formulations

• Use laboratory equipment appropriate for assigned tasks and assist senior technicians with dispensing and labelling of formulations

• Maintains a clean hygienic and safe work environment to a high standard

Minimum Qualifications:

• GCSEs of grades C/4 or above in Maths English and Science

Preferred Qualifications:

• A levels in Chemistry or Biology

Additional Job Standards:

• All tasks will be performed with minimal supervision on satisfactory completion of training

• Ability to work flexibly including weekends; within a team and independently

• Excellent attention to detail

• All training will be provided and this is a great first step for anyone looking to get into the industry. You will be joining a team who are supportive collaborative and really work together to ensure the companies goals are met

• Due to the remote location of this site there are no public transport links available

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician who will do the preparation of test articles for dosing in liquid and dietary form and capsule formulations providing complete documentary evidence of tasks performed in the laboratory.
