Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technicianto join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis until the end of 2026. This role is fully site-based in Reading.

Laboratory TechnicianRole:
- Efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records assigning analytical tests and allocating samples for analysis.
- Maintain chain-of-custody for controlled samples.
- Input results and liaise with clients.
- Perform basic routine pharmacopoeial analysis using aseptic technique under supervision.
- Perform lab admin and housekeeping duties as directed.
- Operate basic lab equipment as directed.
- Hold a relevant scientific degree (chemistry preferred) or have equivalent working experience.
- Some practical hands-on laboratory experience.
- Experience working on teams and independently with the guidance of more senior team members.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
