Required skills and experience:

• Sciencebased qualification (e.g. Chemistry or related discipline) or relevant industry experience in a similar laboratory role.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to work within a dynamic laboratory setting.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Key activities:

• Conduct routine laboratory testing and analysis in line with approved methods and procedures.
• Prepare samples reagents and standards accurately while following laboratory protocols.
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and report any faults deviations or non-conformances.
• Record and maintain accurate test results laboratory records and documentation.
• Support the preparation of technical results and reports for review.
• Maintain a clean organised and safe laboratory environment in accordance with QHSE requirements.
• Comply with quality systems accreditation standards and laboratory procedures.
• Report hazards incidents near misses and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and routine laboratory projects.
• Participate in training and competency development to enhance technical skills.
• Work collaboratively to meet turnaround times quality standards and customer expectations.
• Demonstrate a professional and positive approach in all interactions.
