Job Description
As a KS1 Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging high-quality teaching across Key Stage 1 supporting pupils in their academic social and emotional development. You will play a key role in creating a positive classroom environment that fosters curiosity confidence and a love of learning.
You will work closely with colleagues across the school to plan and deliver a creative and inclusive curriculum ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan prepare and deliver engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess track and report on pupil progress effectively
Create a safe inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Use a range of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
Support pupils personal development wellbeing and behaviour
Work collaboratively with colleagues parents and carers
Contribute to wider school life events and enrichment activities
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs encouraged to apply)
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Excellent classroom management skills
Passion for delivering engaging and creative lessons
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
