Job Summary
- To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness providing a clean and safe working area.
- To maintain all catering storage areas ensuring they are always organised and clean.
- To receive count inspect and store goods and/or equipment as and when required.
- To be involved with some food preparation and service when required.
- Report immediately any incidents or accidents loss damage unfit food or other irregularities and take such actions as may be appropriate.
- Report any broken equipment to the Kitchen Leader and Managers.
- To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to such as Health and Safety Food Safety and COSHH.
- Perform additional duties as required to support operational requirements such as offloading deliveries and waste management.
Qualifications :
- Passion for the hospitality and catering industry
- Positive can-do attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet business needs
- Good organisational skills
- Reliable and able to work well within a team
- Self-motivated and proactive
