Job Summary

Join our busy professional and friendly Kitchen Team at Trinity Hall.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us full-time as a Kitchen Porter.

This important role supports the wider team by maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and assisting the chefs with their daily duties.


What We Offer

- A permanent full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Working hours will include evenings and weekends. You will have one fixed day off during the week and every other weekend off
- Remuneration will be 28528 per annum. There will be a four-month probationary period

What We Are Looking For

- Good organisational communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift small to medium-sized loads in line with manual handling regulations
- A positive team player with a positive attitude and flexible approach
- Experience in a similar role or working environment

Duties

- Providing plate and pot wash cover along with general kitchen cleaning duties
- Cleaning in line with agreed schedules
- Working safely and complying with current health and safety legislation
- Following correct manual handling procedures
- Ensuring all work practices comply with current food hygiene regulations

Trinity Hall was founded in 1350 by the Bishop of Norwich primarily to teach Canon and Civil Law. Today Trinity Hall is a progressive liberal institution catering for the majority of subjects taught in the University.
