Kitchen Assistant

Temporary contract until January 2027

Salary: from 12.80 per hour

Various shifts available:

8:00am -12:00pm 

4:00pm - 8:00pm 

0:00am - 4:00am

7 day a week operation

12 hour contract - Overtime Available 

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation (e.g. chopping vegetables preparing sauces plating dishes)

• Serving customers and use of cashless tills

• Keeping all kitchen areas clean hygienic and organised at all times

• Operating dishwashing equipment and handwashing kitchenware

• Handling deliveries and ensuring stock is stored properly

• Emptying bins cleaning floors and maintaining general hygiene

• Following all food safety and health regulations

• Helping with stock rotation and reporting low inventory levels

• Filling vending machines 

Qualifications :

• Hardworking and enthusiastic

• A team player with a positive attitude

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable punctual and willing to learn

• Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not essential training will be provided
