As Premises Officer youll play an important part in ensuring the school is ready for the day ahead.
Your responsibilities will include:
Opening the school each morning
Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
Completing health and safety checks
Ensuring the premises remain safe secure and well presented
Reporting maintenance issues and liaising with contractors where required
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
Previous experience working within a school environment is essential.
Location: Southwark
Contract: Ongoing temporary
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am 11:30am (20 hours per week)
Youll be joining a nurturing school where children are encouraged to become confident independent learners in a safe and stimulating environment. Staff work closely together to create a positive school culture built on respect inclusion and strong relationships with families ensuring every child has the best possible start to their education.
