About the role

Were recruiting a Junior People Partner to join our people team based in Speke. Reporting to the Senior People Partner its a generalist role thatll work with specific business areas to provide commercially aligned HR advice and guidance to people managers and leaders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone working within a People role currently but looking to develop their knowledge skills and experience across a range of HR disciplines. You will need to be proactive agile and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment!

What youll be doing:

  • Support/advise team managers/leaders on effective resolution of people matters; performance management disciplinaries grievances absence management
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes & practices.
  • Maintaining a relevant external understanding of HR policy and practice.
  • Upskilling of team managers/leaders in their understanding /application of a wide range of people policy and processes
  • Support other areas of the people team with the implementation of people initiatives in areas you partner as and when required e.g. regulatory learning adherence people forum activities Voice survey etc.
  • Support the production of relevant people MI for the wider people team conducting analysis and suggest improvements
About you
  • Confident working independently while collaborating effectively as part of a wider People team.
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment & prioritise effectively.
  • Working knowledge of UK employment law and EU legislation.
  • Experience of advising on a range of ER issues.
  • CIPD would be an advantage.
