Junior Management Accountant

We are seeking a Junior Management Accountant to join our Finance Team to provide support to the financial management of this role you will own the day to day management accounting process for a smaller group entity once established in role. Within the broader business support purchase and sales invoice processing cash collection and helping ensure projects stay within budget. This role is hands-on detail-driven and ideal for someone building a career in management accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Controlling the management accounting close process for a smaller group entity

• Support for other monthly financial close activities

• Sales and purchase invoice processing revenue recognition and cost allocations

• Support cashflow forecasting

• Track and record project costs budgets and forecasts

• Prepare basic financial reports for managers and finance leaders

• Maintain accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews

• Support process improvements and standardization

• Provide support to key finance projects and implementations across various areas of the business.

• Provide support and coverage to other members of the finance team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 13 years of experience in accounting finance or similar

• Strong Excel skills (lookups sumif pivots basic formulas expected)

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

• Clear communication skills and confidence working with non-finance stakeholders

• Willingness to learn and take ownership of work

Preferred:

• Experience with ERP or project accounting systems
• Exposure to project-based environments (engineering manufacturing consulting etc.)
• Progress toward a professional accounting qualification (AAT ACCA CIMA or equivalent)

Other Requirements:

• SC cleared or ability to obtain
