Job Summary

What youll do...

  • Support the creation maintenance and improvement of reports dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Domo.
  • Assist with regular and ad-hoc reporting requests helping stakeholders access the information they need.
  • Collaborate with the wider Data & BI team and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
  • Write and adapt SQL queries to retrieve check and analyse data from our data warehouse.
  • Help ensure data is accurate consistent and reliable by investigating issues and highlighting discrepancies.
  • Analyse data to identify trends patterns and opportunities that support business decisions.
  • Work with experienced analysts to investigate business questions and turn data into meaningful insights.
  • Document reporting processes and support the maintenance of reporting standards.

Qualifications :

What were looking for...

  • 02 years experience in a data reporting or analytics role or equivalent experience gained through a placement internship or university project or relevant self-led learning.
  • Good Excel skills including working with data formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work logically through questions and issues.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Clear communication skills including the ability to explain data and technical concepts in a simple and accessible way to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage your workload effectively.
  • Quick to learn new tools technical concepts and ways of working.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with SQL databases or data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with reporting or visualisation tools such as Domo Power BI Tableau or similar.
  • Expose to cloud data platforms would be an advantage.
  • An interest in hospitality or previous experience within the hotel industry.
