Junior Data Analyst
Job Summary
What youll do...
- Support the creation maintenance and improvement of reports dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Domo.
- Assist with regular and ad-hoc reporting requests helping stakeholders access the information they need.
- Collaborate with the wider Data & BI team and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Write and adapt SQL queries to retrieve check and analyse data from our data warehouse.
- Help ensure data is accurate consistent and reliable by investigating issues and highlighting discrepancies.
- Analyse data to identify trends patterns and opportunities that support business decisions.
- Work with experienced analysts to investigate business questions and turn data into meaningful insights.
- Document reporting processes and support the maintenance of reporting standards.
Qualifications :
What were looking for...
- 02 years experience in a data reporting or analytics role or equivalent experience gained through a placement internship or university project or relevant self-led learning.
- Good Excel skills including working with data formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work logically through questions and issues.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- Clear communication skills including the ability to explain data and technical concepts in a simple and accessible way to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to prioritise tasks and manage your workload effectively.
- Quick to learn new tools technical concepts and ways of working.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with SQL databases or data warehouses.
- Familiarity with reporting or visualisation tools such as Domo Power BI Tableau or similar.
- Expose to cloud data platforms would be an advantage.
- An interest in hospitality or previous experience within the hotel industry.
