Position Overview
Davey Treeis a leader in arboricultural and landscape services throughout the US and Canada. Our Corporate Offoce is seeking qualified candidates for a Junior Buyer position.
TheJunior Buyerperforms a variety of administrative technical and organizational tasks to support Field Operations.
This position will be onsite at the corporate office in Kent Monday-Friday.
Job Duties
TheJunior Buyerposition includes the following duties functions and responsibilities:
- Send requests for quotes and negotiate pricing and contracts.
- Enter purchase order information.
- Working in SAP
- Maintain data integrity.
- Coordinate with distributors and suppliers.
- Expedite orders and communicate with top management.
- Accurately manage and transform data into Excel spreadsheets.
- Create graphs diagrams forms and other documents.
- Create and track invoices and payments.
- Respond to email and telephone inquiries.
- Documentation of processes.
- Follow all company policies procedures and work rules.
- Perfom all duties as required.
- Report timely and accurately to Manager.
- Work as assistant to Purchasing Manager.
- Perfom other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook Word and Excel.
- Previous experience in SAP
- Aptitude for learning new software and systems quickly
- 1-2 years of previous experience
- High School Diploma or GED
