Junior AIT Engineer

We are seeking an Junior AIT Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth supporting the assembly integration and testing of advanced aerospace and space systems within a highly regulated environment.

• On Site: Fully onsite
• Clearance: Clearable 
• Experience Level: Junior

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly integration and test activities in accordance with engineering procedures and work instructions.
• Prepare hardware and equipment for integration and testing activities.
• Support electrical and mechanical integration of aerospace and space systems.
• Execute functional tests and record test results accurately.
• Identify and report non-conformances anomalies and defects.
• Complete manufacturing and quality documentation in line with project requirements.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with quality safety and cleanliness requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AIT environment

Qualifications :

Required Skills:

• Space or Aerospace Engineering background
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings procedures and technical documentation.
• Strong practical and hands-on engineering skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience working to strict processes and procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and proactive approach to problem solving.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.
