Watford ASAP Permanent Full-time
A high-performing secondary school in Watford is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to join its pastoral and safeguarding team.
Youll work closely with the DSL and wider pastoral team helping to ensure safeguarding procedures are followed consistently and pupils receive the right support.
Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns
Maintain accurate safeguarding records and case files
Manage referrals and follow-up actions
Support the DSL with child protection procedures
Liaise with parents staff and external agencies
Monitor safeguarding systems and ensure records are up to date
Support safeguarding meetings and multi-agency work
Youll have previous experience working in school safeguarding or child protection and a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
Youll need excellent judgement communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
