A high-performing secondary school in Manchester is looking for an experienced Safeguarding Officer to join its dedicated pastoral and safeguarding team.
Working closely with the DSL youll help manage safeguarding concerns maintain accurate records and ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns
Maintain accurate safeguarding and welfare records
Manage referrals and follow-up actions
Support child protection procedures
Liaise with families and external agencies
Assist with safeguarding meetings and casework
Support staff with safeguarding processes
Youll have previous experience within school safeguarding child protection or pastoral support and a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
