Repairs/ Servicing/ Maintenance
Carry out routine servicing of lift equipment including minor repair work and the routine replacement of components and in accordance with approved company procedures (PPE PDA Expert etc)
To rectify and reduce faults on lift equipment in cases of breakdown and check to confirm correct functioning
Checking the lift function as part of maintenance checks to include speed motor start/stop weight noise temperature and power supplies using approved company issued tooling and protective equipment
Conduct the routine inspection and adjustment of lift in accordance with approved procedures. Reinstate lift and complete service documentation
Carrying out more advanced fault finding and diagnostic procedures using a range of techniques technical manuals and appropriate test equipment restoring equipment to service
Conduct site surveys
Installation
Installing lift Well and Ancillary Equipment in accordance with approved procedures
Installing Traction Equipment in accordance with approved procedures
Installing Lift Ropes (traction media) and adjust in accordance with approved procedures
Installation of Lift Doors and Frames in accordance with approved procedures
Checking and Setting the Lift Installation in accordance with approved procedures
Previous experience in lift servicing maintenance or repairs OR installation
NVQ Level 3 OR NFQ in Lift Maintenance/ Installation (or an equivalent qualification)
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge with experience working on multi-brand equipment
Excellent fault-finding diagnostic and problem-solving skills
A full driving licence
Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines and maintain high standards of efficiency
Confident working independently with a flexible and proactive approach
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients Service Leaders and Inspectors
Good manual dexterity with the ability to safely use hands arms and feet for repetitive tasks operate hand and power tools and complete written records
Attractive Salary
Company Van (for eligible roles) with a fuel card and parking expenses covered while youre on shift.
For a MondayFriday role: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and one paid volunteering day each year.
For a 4 on 4 off role: 20 days annual leave and one paid volunteering day each year.
