We have 2 new opportunities to join Severn Trents Complex Waste Customer Networks team. 1 will cover the Shropshire regionfrom ourShelton site the other will cover the Wolverhampton region from our Barnhurst site! This team is responsible for the inspection maintenance improvements and repair of our amazing waste network.

The JetVac Operative role will require you to work in a two-person team. Youll be responsible for resolving various issues and offering our customers fantastic service when they need you the most.

Youll be working within our communities focusing on resolving issues such as blocked sewers using an array of impressive vacuum jetting and blockage clearing equipment. This role works on ashift pattern which involvesworking 1 in 6 weekends as well as acallout/standbyrota.

Other things you may be involved in are:

• Carrying out in depth surveys of drainage systems to maintain diagnose and determine the most appropriate solution. This can involve high risk work and man entry into large network systems.

• Liaising with other departments including our control centre operations and maintenance.

• Working withinconfined spacesand working atheights.

• Operating your vehicle in compliance with road transport legislation and Severn Trent policies and procedures.

• Ensuring vehicles are maintained in a clean & roadworthy condition both internally and externally.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

• To be able to do this role you must hold a drivinglicense.

• Previous jetting experience.

• A Class 2 license is desirable.

• A passion for doing a quality right first-time job together with good attention to detail to ensure you get to the root cause of issues and get them fixed.

• Self-motivation the ability to work as a team as well as autonomously and have an excellent work ethic.

• The ability and desire to build strong relationships with customers.

• Strong organisation skills with an interest in problem solving.
