Job Summary

Post: Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Range: Grade 4 SCP 10-12 FTE salary 27694.00 - 28598.00 pro rata salary 23145.00 - 23901.00)
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
Working Type: Part Time (35 hours 39 working weeks 45.942 paid weeks)
Base: Buile Hill Academy Eccles Old Road Salford M6 8RD

Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

About the Role

Working alongside teachers and pastoral staff you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering targeted interventions working with individuals and small groups and helping students overcome barriers to learning. Youll play an important role in raising achievement developing confidence and ensuring every student can access an excellent education.
