Unit Function Command and Control of Assigned forces deployed on Joint Operations

Position Role Operational requirements manager for C4ISR Infrastructure to support PJHQ operations.


Responsibilities

• Manage PJHQ C4ISR CIS Op req SORs; providing guidance to PJHQ J6 Ops Teams JFHQ SJFHQUKStratCom Jt User sS JFCIS (ME) and Theatres as required.
• Maintain close liaison with delivery agents including DD DE&S and commercial agencies to monitor and ensure the timely delivery of operational SORs.
• As required act as J6 lead for projects with C4ISR reqs ensuring delivery of info resilience in spt of CJOs mission with a 4-yr planning horizon.
• Ensure the security of Op information generated and held by both PJHQ and deployed force elements under CJOs command through the SOR process.
• Deputise for the Eng Spt SO1 when required; undertake the duties of Northwood Duty Field Officer and J6 Duty Officer when detailed.
• Act as PJHQ J6 POC for the provision of welfare WIFI services to operational theatres.
• Perform the role of Chair of the C4ISR CIAS IPROD E2E Chat working group.
