A secondary school in Maidenhead is seeking an IT Technician to provide day-to-day technical support to staff and pupils.
The successful candidate will help maintain reliable IT services across classrooms and administrative areas while troubleshooting hardware software and connectivity issues.
Provide first-line technical support to staff and pupils.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults.
Install configure and maintain computers and peripheral equipment.
Support interactive displays and classroom technology.
Assist with user accounts passwords and access issues.
Maintain records of technical faults and completed repairs.
Assist with routine network and system maintenance.
Monitor IT equipment and identify replacement requirements.
Support software updates and security procedures.
Provide guidance to users on appropriate technology use.
Previous IT support or technical experience.
Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Understanding of computer hardware and software.
Basic networking knowledge would be advantageous.
