A school in Reading is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide day-to-day technical assistance across the site.
The successful candidate will support staff and pupils with hardware software network and classroom technology requirements.
Provide first-line technical support.
Diagnose hardware and software issues.
Install and maintain IT equipment.
Support classroom technology.
Assist with user accounts and access.
Maintain records of technical issues.
Support system updates and maintenance.
Assist with equipment audits.
Escalate complex faults.
Promote appropriate use of school technology.
Previous IT support experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Good knowledge of hardware and software.
Basic networking knowledge.
Patient and professional approach.
Good organisation.
Relevant IT qualifications are advantageous.
