A school in Cheltenham is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide reliable technical support to staff and pupils.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day IT issues maintain equipment and support the effective use of technology across classrooms and administrative areas.

• Provide first-line technical support across the school.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Install and maintain computers and peripheral equipment.

• Support interactive displays printers and classroom technology.

• Assist with user accounts and access issues.

• Record technical faults and completed repairs.

• Support routine network and system maintenance.

• Assist with equipment audits and stock management.

• Escalate complex technical issues appropriately.

• Promote safe and responsible use of school IT systems.

• Previous IT support experience.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Good understanding of hardware and software.

• Basic knowledge of networking would be advantageous.

• Patient and professional approach to user support.

• Good organisation and communication skills.

• Relevant IT qualifications are desirable.
