As an Investment Analyst on Digital Catapults Investment Team you will help support innovativedeeptechstartups as they prepare to raise investment and scale. Youllplay ahandsonrole in delivering investment readiness programmes engaging with investors and supporting the development ofhighpotentialcompanies. This isa great opportunityto build experience in the venture ecosystem working closely with founders investors and programme teams while developing your knowledge of startups and fundraising.

What youll do (Duties)

  • Support the delivery of investment readiness activities across programmes including workshops 1:1 sessions and founder support
  • Assistwith evaluating startups and gathering insights on business models traction and fundraising readiness
  • Coordinate investor engagement activities such as fireside chats pitch practice sessions and roundtables
  • Conduct research into investment trends sectorsinnovativecompaniesand relevant investors to support programme delivery
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of startups investors and programme activity in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to supporthighqualityprogramme delivery and founder outcomes


Requirements
  • Strong interest in startups venture capital and emerging technologies
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to research and present information clearly
  • Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment
  • A proactive and curious approach with a willingness to learn and develop

    Salary: c 30-40k per annum (subject to experience)
