We are seeking a sharp driven Inventory Accountant to join our dynamic finance team at our Leyland this role you will be the master of our stock universe working shoulder-to-shoulder with Supply Chain ICQA and Finance Leadership teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and robust inventory controls. If you have a knack for keeping stock management precise and love turning complex data into actionable insights this is an excellent opportunity to make a measurable impact.
Overseeing the accurate recording valuation and reconciliation of all inventory balances.
Partnering with the ICQA team to ensure inventory processes are robust and audit-ready.
Maintaining iron-clad controls over stock movements adjustments and reserves including NRV and obsolescence provisions.
Supporting product costing activities and financial modelling to maintain market competitiveness.
Collaborating with Commercial Finance to align inventory projections with the broader financial roadmap.
Professional Qualification: Qualified Accountant (CIMA ACCA ACA or equivalent).
Industry Experience: Strong hands-on background in retail or commercial inventory management.
Analytical Expertise: Proven capability in inventory planning forecasting and variance analysis.
Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear actionable insights for non-finance teams.
Operational Drive: Highly organised detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
