Salary: 52188 Company Van Fuel Card Night out allowance Overtime

Permanent: Monday - Friday 8am 5pm (40 hours) plus 12-15 hours overtime per week when working away

Technical Partners are looking for an experienced Hazardous Area Electrician to join our clients growing Engineering Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of LPG/LNG projects from building bespoke refueling stations at their Staveley facility to installing inspecting and maintaining customer installations across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning LPG/LNG electrical systems.
• Carrying out hazardous-area and non hazardous-area electrical inspections and remedial work.
• Building and upgrading LPG refueling stations and plant.
• Installing ATEX/IECEx equipment motors lighting control stations and junction boxes.
• Installing conduit trunking cable tray SWA cables glands and LV equipment.
• Fault finding on electrical and control systems.
• Working from schematics loop drawings P&IDs and zone drawings.
• Working safely both independently and as part of a team.

Youll need

• Approved Electrician status with JIB Gold Card or equivalent.
• CompEx EX01EX04 or IECEx qualification.
• C&G 2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification.
• 18th Edition BS7671.
• Relevant Safety Passport such as CCSNG/JIB/SSSTS.
• Experience in hazardous-area electrical installation and commissioning.
• Petrochemical or gas industry experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and IT skills.
• IPAF PASMA and NICEIC experience would be an advantage.
