Industrial Process Engineer Supply Chain

What youll be doing

Youll work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to drive excellence in mechanical manufacturing and product delivery:

• Build trusted partnerships with suppliers to deliver high-quality reliable components
• Collaborate to optimise manufacturing processes and reduce costs
• Provide technical input during supplier selection audits and readiness reviews
• Lead supplier audits identifying risks and opportunities for improvement
• Support First Article Inspections (FAI) and validate new production processes
• Analyse process data to improve quality yield and performance
• Drive APQP and PPAP activities to ensure smooth new product introduction
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering procurement and quality teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined
• Support supplier manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement initiatives

What youll bring

Were looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset:

• Experience in mechanical manufacturing processes (machining casting forging etc.)
• Background working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma APQP and PPAP
• Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach
• A proactive curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
• Ability to travel to supplier sites

Your background

• Degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Product Design or similar or equivalent industry experience
