In-House Paralegal
Job Summary
As part of our Group Legal Department you will play a key role in supporting the litigation function by proactively managing a high-volume and fast-moving caseload of customer legal claims with a particular focus on claims arising from Claims Management Companies (CMCs).
Working closely with the Head of Litigation Legal Counsel and an Apprentice Solicitor you will manage day-to-day case administration ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements prepare case documentation and support the teams strategic approach to claims handling.
The role will also provide litigation and enforcement support to the Groups Recoveries function assisting with matters relating to possession proceedings receivership appointments bankruptcy proceedings security enforcement and recovery actions alongside our external legal panel.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation paralegal who is highly organised detail-oriented and motivated to broaden their expertise within an in-house legal team operating in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Qualifications :

- LLB graduate or suitable paralegal qualification
- Significant experience working as a litigation paralegal legal executive or litigation file handler.
- Strong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Experience managing a substantial caseload of litigated matters.
- Experience preparing court documents bundles and case summaries.
- Experience working within a regulated environment preferably financial services.
- Strong drafting and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyse complex information and present findings clearly and concisely.
- Confident working with case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience dealing with CMC-driven claims or high-volume litigation.
