Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen to join a growing team of freight forwarders based in Witham. The company deals with a wide range of goods and covers all aspects of air sea and road freight along with courier warehousing and project forwarding.
To Manage both Import and Export consignments for Air and Sea freight.
Managing both Imports and Exports
Dealing with Air and Sea Freight consignments Worldwide.
Quoting and following up on the quotes given
Making bookings and placing on the system
Tracking and tracing of bookings
Dealing with overseas agents and partners
Dealing with customs procedures.
Managing the logistics and transportation of goods.
Liaison with customers to update them on timely and efficient delivery.
Experience required:
Experience of the freight industry will be required but some training will be offered in areas requiring further experience.
