Appleby Westward are looking for a reliable and motivated Hygiene Operative to join our busy Warehouse team. This is an essential role within the operation helping to maintain a clean safe and well-organised working environment to support our colleagues and operational standards.

The Role:
As a Hygiene Operative your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out housekeeping duties within the Warehouse safely ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy at all times
Collecting cardboard and plastic waste ensuring refuse cages are not overloaded or poorly stacked and baling waste correctly for collection
Dealing with spillages promptly and safely using appropriate signage where required to minimise risk to colleagues
Taking responsibility for any workplace trucks or equipment used including battery charging and reporting faults in line with procedures
Adhering to all Health & Safety requirements at all times
Part-time Sunday & Monday: 2pm 10pm Tuesday: 5pm 10pm (21 hours per week).

A positive attitude and the ability to work independently as part of a wider team
