Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Hygiene Technician Nights to join our team in Aylesford United Kingdom. Working on a night shift basis you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. The successful candidate will be organised efficient and committed to upholding health and safety standards whilst working independently during unsociable hours. Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all designated areas including communal spaces facilities and equipment in accordance with established hygiene protocols Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively
- Handle and dispose of cleaning chemicals and waste materials in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention and report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules chemical usage and any incidents or concerns Adhere strictly to infection control procedures and best practice guidelines
- Work efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes during night shift operations
- Communicate effectively with day shift staff and management regarding facility conditions and any outstanding concerns
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and restocked as required
- Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in meeting the demands of night shift work
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in cleaning hygiene or sanitation operations within a commercial or institutional setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time keeping and reliability with the ability to work consistently during night shifts Proficiency in using cleaning equipment machinery and chemical products safely Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and infection control procedures Physical capability to perform manual cleaning tasks and lift/move equipment as required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively Reliable communication skills and a professional approach to working within a team environment Desirable: Health and Safety certification or equivalent qualification Desirable: COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) awareness training Desirable: Previous experience working on night shift rotations
