About the Role

Were looking for a skilled and motivatedHealth Safety & Asbestos Consultantto join our growing team at Bureau Veritas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combininggeneral Health & Safety consultancywithspecialist asbestos expertise helping clients stay compliant manage risk and create safer working environments.

Youll work closely with a variety of clients providing practical high-quality advice and becoming a trusted partner in their safety journey.

What Youll Be Doing

In this varied and dynamic role you will:

Provide expert Health & Safety advice tailored to client needs
Support and develop H&S policies procedures and safe systems of work
Carry out risk assessments audits and site inspections
Assist with incident investigations and recommend improvements
Deliver asbestos-specific advice and ensure compliance with regulations
Produce accurate asbestos survey reports and documentation
Act as a key point of contact for asbestos risk and management queries
Build strong client relationships and represent Bureau Veritas professionally

What Were Looking For

Essential:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a Health & Safety advisory or operational role
  • Personable Proactive professional and solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong knoweldge and experience in Asbestos Surveying
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety and asbestos legislation

Desirable (but not essential):

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)
  • BOHS P402 (or equivalent asbestos surverying qualification)
  • BOHS P405 qualification (or equivalent asbestos surverying qualification)
  • IOSH membership (or working towards Chartered status)
  • Experience in consultancy or client-facing environments
