Our client is seeking an articulate detail-oriented HR Manager to lead their central personnel department. Taking direct ownership of the schools human resources framework you will ensure total compliance with national safeguarding regulations while fostering a positive professional working environment across academic and support faculties.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for maintaining an immaculate Single Central Record (SCR) in strict accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines. You will manage end-to-end recruitment lifecyclesfrom drafting job descriptions and coordinating interview panels to conducting DBS checks verifying references and leading staff inductions. Additionally you will advise senior leadership on sickness absence tracking maternity/paternity processes employee relations and performance management workflows.

  • CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or equivalent demonstrably strong HR management experience in education)

  • Deep operational knowledge of UK employment law school recruitment compliance and KCSIE single central record auditing

  • Exceptional organizational capabilities meticulous attention to detail and absolute discretion when handling sensitive data

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to advise senior leaders governors and external trade union representatives
