We are recruiting for our client a successful engineering business in Derry/Londonderry who are seeking a proactive and people-focused HR Officer to join their team.
This is an exciting new stand alone permanent role (38 hours per week MondayThursday) offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in HR operations employee engagement and talent management across the organisation.

The Role
Act as a trusted HR advisor for employees and line managers on policies procedures compliance and employment legislation
Provide employee relations support addressing queries and assisting with grievance resolution
Promote the organisation as an employer of choice through engagement with schools agencies and partners
Support apprenticeships graduate programs training plans and employee development initiatives
Manage performance review processes including probation reviews and coordinate training plans
Lead employee engagement initiatives including the We are FAST team
Maintain HR records prepare contracts correspondence and ensure accurate HR system data
Administer employee benefits payroll support and offboarding processes
Analyse HR metrics and provide reports to senior management
The Person
3rd level qualification in HR or relevant discipline
Minimum 2-3 years HR generalist experience
CIPD Level 3 or above desirable
Knowledge of HR policies employment legislation and best practice
Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Excellent interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
Strong organisational analytical and problem-solving abilities
Experience in manufacturing/engineering/production desirable
Full clean driving licence
