HR Officer (French Speaking)
Job Summary
As the HR Officer you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of HR and administrative activities ensuring a smooth employee experience from onboarding through to offboarding. You will also act as a key point of contact for employees managers and various internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Administration
- Manage employee absences annual leave and expense claims.
- Monitor timesheet submissions.
- Administer the Travel & Expenses Policy.
- Manage medical insurance and pension schemes.
- Support employee benefits administration.
- Respond to employees day-to-day HR queries.
- Monitor probation periods objectives and annual appraisals.
- Coordinate employee satisfaction surveys.
- Manage the procurement of IT equipments
Contracts & Employee Lifecycle
- Prepare employment contracts for permanent employees and subcontractors.
- Draft contract amendments and end-of-employment letters.
- Coordinate the full onboarding process from contract signature through the first six months.
- Manage the complete offboarding process including exit interviews IT equipment returns and account closures.
- Support visa administration where required.
Payroll & HR Operations
- Act as the main HR contact for payroll and HMRC matters.
- Ensure legal compliance with UK employment legislation.
Employee Relations
- Provide first-line HR advice to managers.
- Support disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Assist with long-term sickness absence management.
- Develop action plans with the business to improve employee experience.
Internal Communication & Employee Experience
- Manage UK internal communications including the intranet newsletters and company announcements.
- Organise internal events including invitations travel accommodation catering and logistics.
- Manage existing employee perks and introduce new employee benefits.
- Identify training needs and ensure completion of mandatory training programmes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the key liaison between the UK and French teams ensuring effective communication and alignment of HR processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Treasury Accounts Payable Procurement and Sales regarding payroll expenses supplier creation purchase orders and invoice payments.
- Manage the UK IT asset inventory approve IT equipment requests and coordinate IT support when required.
- Provide recruitment support during periods of absence within the Talent Acquisition team.

- Previous experience in a generalist HR role.
- Bilingual English and French
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an international environment.
- Able to build relationships with stakeholders across multiple departments.
