Job Summary
A top-performing primary school in Redbridge is looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join its leadership support team on a full-time permanent basis from September 2026.

Working alongside the Headteacher and School Business Manager youll lead the schools HR function helping to shape a positive workplace culture while ensuring the highest standards of compliance employee engagement and staff development.

Youll lead all aspects of Human Resources providing expert advice and ensuring HR practices support both the schools strategic objectives and the wellbeing of its employees.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading recruitment onboarding and safer recruitment processes
Providing expert guidance on employee relations attendance management disciplinary grievance and capability matters
Developing and reviewing HR policies in line with current employment legislation
Managing contracts HR systems personnel records and payroll changes
Producing workforce data and reports to support strategic decision-making
Leading initiatives to improve staff wellbeing engagement and retention
Supporting organisational development and workforce planning
Working closely with senior leaders to foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture
