A school in Leeds is looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to oversee its HR operations and provide advice and guidance to managers and staff.

Youll manage a broad range of people-related matters helping ensure recruitment employee relations and staff development processes are handled consistently and professionally.

• Manage recruitment onboarding and pre-employment checks.

• Advise on employee relations absence and performance management.

• Support disciplinary grievance and capability procedures.

• Maintain HR policies personnel records and reporting.

• Coordinate appraisals and staff training.

• Support workforce planning and HR compliance.

• Previous HR management or senior HR advisory experience.

• Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations.

• Excellent organisation and communication skills.

• The confidence to advise managers and manage sensitive issues.

• Education-sector experience would be beneficial.

Youll be able to take ownership of a varied HR role work closely with senior leaders and contribute to a positive and well-supported staff environment.
