Job Summary

A highly successful secondary school in Southwark is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its senior support team on a full-time permanent basis from October 2026.

The Role

Youll lead the schools HR function delivering a professional and people-focused service across all areas of Human Resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading recruitment and talent acquisition

  • Managing employee relations and complex HR casework

  • Advising leaders on employment law and best practice

  • Managing HR systems contracts and personnel records

  • Supporting workforce planning and succession planning

  • Developing staff wellbeing initiatives

  • Maintaining compliance with employment legislation and safeguarding
