HR Manager – Haringey | Full HR Responsibility

Haringey ASAP Start Temporary to Permanent 8:30am4:30pm MondayFriday Term Time Only FTE

A secondary school in Haringey is seeking an experienced HR professional to take on the role of HR Manager and become a key part of its support team.

Youll be working alongside an HR Assistant giving you the opportunity to focus on the more senior and advisory side of HR while still remaining involved in the day-to-day running of the function.

People & Employee Relations

• Advise managers and staff on HR matters.

• Manage absence performance and probation processes.

• Support disciplinary and grievance cases.

• Deal with sensitive employee issues appropriately.

Recruitment & Compliance

• Oversee recruitment and safer recruitment checks.

• Ensure personnel records remain accurate and complete.

• Maintain the Single Central Register.

• Support pre-employment checks and onboarding.

HR Administration

• Oversee contracts and staff changes.

• Monitor absence and HR data.

• Keep policies and procedures under review.

• Work closely with the HR Assistant on administration and queries.

Previous experience at HR Manager HR Advisor or Senior HR Officer level is important ideally within a school or education setting.

Youll need a good working knowledge of employment law excellent organisational skills and the confidence to deal with confidential matters.

CIPD qualification or equivalent professional experience would be desirable.
