HR Manager – Chelmsford | Full-Time, Permanent

Were looking for an experienced HR Manager to join a school in Chelmsford and take responsibility for a broad range of HR activities.

The successful candidate will be confident advising managers improving HR processes and ensuring staff matters are handled fairly consistently and in line with current legislation.

• Manage recruitment and the employee onboarding process.

• Provide advice on employee relations attendance and performance.

• Support disciplinary grievance and capability procedures.

• Maintain HR records policies and employment documentation.

• Coordinate appraisals training and staff development.

• Monitor safer recruitment checks and HR compliance.

• Experience in an HR Manager or senior HR advisory role.

• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR procedures.

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

• Confidence handling sensitive conversations and confidential records.

• Experience within a school or other regulated setting would be beneficial.
