A school in Bournemouth is seeking an approachable and organised HR Manager to support its leadership team and oversee day-to-day HR operations.

Youll manage a range of employee matters from recruitment and onboarding to staff development and employee relations. The role calls for someone who can provide sound advice while keeping processes organised and running smoothly.

• Manage recruitment and onboarding from start to finish.

• Advise on absence performance conduct and grievance matters.

• Maintain personnel records and HR documentation.

• Support policy reviews and employment law compliance.

• Coordinate appraisals staff training and development.

• Ensure required pre-employment and safeguarding checks are completed.

• Previous HR management or senior advisory experience.

• Knowledge of UK employment legislation.

• Strong organisation and communication skills.

• A practical confidential and solutions-focused approach.

• Education-sector experience would be beneficial.

Youll have a varied role with the chance to work closely with school leaders and help build effective consistent HR practices.
